Privacy Policy
The foundation of calcsdone is a straightforward principle: calculations are performed inside your browser and do not require an account. What that means, and what little information we do collect, is explained in detail below.
Last updated: September 11, 2026
In short: when you enter numbers into a calculator, they stay in your browser and are never transmitted to our servers. Accounts aren’t necessary, and we only keep the information you choose to send us directly, such as a message through the contact form.
Overview
This Privacy Policy describes how calcsdone (“we,” “us”) handles information when you visit calcsdone.com. There are no user accounts, no logins, and no stored calculator results, because the site is built to require as little personal information as possible.
Calculator inputs stay on your device
Each calculator on this website runs client-side, meaning JavaScript performs the math directly in your browser. Salary figures, test scores, health data, project measurements, and any other numbers you enter into a calculator are not sent to or stored on calcsdone’s servers.
Closing the tab or refreshing the page clears whatever you entered.
Information we do collect
Since calcsdone is a website, some data is generated automatically by the way web pages are served, even without accounts:
- Server logs: for security and performance reasons, our hosting provider may log standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, and pages viewed.
- Anything you send us directly: if you use the contact form or email us, we receive whatever name, email address, and message you choose to include.
We do not sell, rent, or share this information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Cookies, analytics & advertising
calcsdone may use a small number of cookies or similar technologies for basic site functions, such as remembering your preferred light/dark mode in your browser’s local storage. That preference is never transmitted to us — it stays on your device.
As of this policy’s last update, calcsdone does not run third-party advertising and does not use Google AdSense. If we add analytics or advertising in the future — for example Google Analytics or Google AdSense — this section will be updated to name the specific service, and:
- Google Analytics, if used, may collect information such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited to help us understand aggregate traffic. You would be able to opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
- Google AdSense or similar ad networks, if used, may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You would be able to manage personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info.
You can always view, block, or delete cookies through your browser’s settings.
Do Not Track signals
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal. Because there is no common industry standard for how websites should respond to DNT, calcsdone does not currently change its behavior based on this signal. In practice, since calculator inputs never leave your browser and we run no advertising today, very little cross-site tracking occurs regardless.
Contact form
Our contact page opens your email application with your message pre-filled and addressed to info@calcsdone.com. It is not saved in a database on our website — it is delivered directly through your own email provider. We keep your message in our inbox only for as long as it takes to respond, unless you ask us to retain it longer.
Third-party links
calcsdone links to some external tools and resources, such as the AFT Calculator. We have no control over how third-party websites handle your information, so we encourage you to review their privacy policies before using them.
Children’s privacy
calcsdone is a general-audience website and is not directed at children under 13. In line with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Because calculators run in the browser without accounts, no personal information is retained regardless of the user’s age. If you believe a child has sent us personal information through the contact form, please email us at info@calcsdone.com and we will delete it.
Your rights & choices
Because we don’t maintain user accounts or store calculator data, there is generally nothing on file to request, correct, or delete beyond what you’ve sent us directly by email or through the contact form. Depending on where you live — including under the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) — you may still have the right to:
- know what personal information, if any, we hold about you;
- request a copy of that information;
- request correction or deletion of that information;
- object to or restrict certain processing.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@calcsdone.com. We’ll respond within a reasonable time.
Do not sell or share my information
calcsdone does not sell or share personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA. If that ever changes, this policy will be updated in advance and a clear opt-out mechanism will be provided.
Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy as the website develops — for example if we add analytics, advertising, or new features. The “last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised policy.
